A Weekend Adventure

Arriving at Kaoko Bush Lodge from Windhoek in the afternoon, take the time to settle in before heading to our restaurant and bar for a sundowner and dinner. Ask at reception about the availability of our game drive or if you feel the need to move, make use of our hiking trail to see a bit more of the unique Kunene landscape.

 

After breakfast, head back towards Kamanjab to refuel and choose a picnic lunch at the supermarket. Head north on the C35 to Ruacana to get to the western side of the Etosha Park via the Galton Gate. Use the day to explore the waterholes and see the wildlife in one of Africa’s most famous national parks. Head back to Kaoko Bush Lodge in the afternoon to cool down in our swimming pool with an ice cold beer. Enjoy a delicious 3 course meal for dinner and allow the silent starry night sky to soothe your soul.

 

Sleep in and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before checking out. Before driving back to Windhoek or heading further north, explore the Rock Engravings at Peet Alberts Koppie or the Omasuana Himba Village.
