Arriving at Kaoko Bush Lodge from Windhoek in the afternoon, take the time to settle in before heading to our restaurant and bar for a sundowner and dinner. If you are planning a day to explore the Kamanjab area, ask our reception to help plan your itinerary.
Sleep in and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before heading out as planned to explore the Rock Engravings at Peet Alberts Koppie, the Omasuana Himba Village close to Kamanjab or the Cheetah farm of Otjitongwe. If you choose to have a more relaxed day, why not do some birdwatching, take a walk, unwind at the pool or read on your personal veranda. We can gladly also organise a game drive from the lodge.
Wake up rested and have a delicious breakfast, before heading off to Etosha Park via the Galton Gate. Use the day to explore the waterholes and see the wildlife in one of Africa’s most famous national parks. Head back to Kaoko Bush Lodge in the afternoon to cool down in our swimming pool with an ice cold beer. Enjoy a delicious 3 course meal for dinner and allow the silent starry night sky to soothe your soul.
Sleep late and take your time to have breakfast before checkout. Or take a sunrise walk along our hiking trail to soak up the tranquility of this beautiful landscape before you head back to Windhoek or further north, all rested and relaxed.
